

Derya Celikkol is a Turkish actor and production designer based in Berlin and New York. Her theatrical journey has been marked by performances at La Mama, Dixon Place, Rattlestick and Players Theatre in NYC, Greenside at Edinburgh and TiK in Berlin. She has performed as a lead in over 100 shows of the critically acclaimed Unmaking Toulouse-Lautrec, for which she was an original devising member. Recently she originated the time traveling witch role of Bogdana in the play Wenches! for which the Scotsman called her "perfectly cast" and "Celikkol's disarmingly modern witch is a hoot." Her noteworthy film credits include Daria the Great for which she received a Best Actress Award at the Lionshead Film Festival and Fairytale of New York with a wide theatrical release in Turkey. Her production design work consists of award winning feature and short films, TV shows and commercials. She is a proud graduate of the Experimental Theatre Wing/Tisch School of the Arts.
